The solution
BidMorning is a tender alert service I build with my team for contractors in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Every morning at 8 AM it emails a short shortlist of government tenders that match a contractor's trades and state, with a fit score, closing date, EMD, estimated value, and a direct link to the official portal.
It covers 20 contractor categories, from civil works, roads, and irrigation to electrical, solar, CCTV, medical, and furniture supply. Sources are GeM, CPPP/ePublish, and the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh eProcurement portals.
Technical approach
Listings are pulled from the four official sources, normalised, and matched against each subscriber's category and state preferences. Each match carries a fit percentage, the reason it matched, and a plain note on what to verify before bidding, because dates, fees, and eligibility must always be confirmed on the official portal.
Delivery is email-first. A subscriber picks a plan, verifies their address with a 6-digit code, authorises a monthly Razorpay subscription, and starts receiving the digest. Every email links to a secure web archive where they can revisit past tenders and manage preferences. WhatsApp deadline reminders are optional and require separate consent, and can be stopped at any time.
Two plans keep pricing simple: Starter at ₹200 a month for up to three categories, and Pro at ₹500 a month for unlimited category combinations, urgent deadline nudges, and priority matching for busy trades. Access stops cleanly at the end of a billing period, and no digests go out after unsubscribe or expiry.
Outcome
BidMorning is live at bidmorning.in. Contractors get one email a day with the tenders worth opening instead of scanning four portals, and can be up and running in minutes: choose a plan, verify email, receive the morning digest.
