The solution
Soma is an enterprise operating system for Indian SMEs that I build with my team. It handles GST-compliant invoicing, multi-warehouse inventory, trade intelligence, and mobile access, designed for businesses that outgrow spreadsheets but don't need SAP complexity.
Technical approach
The platform centers on three connected layers: finance (invoicing, payments, GST returns), inventory (warehouses, transfers, stock levels), and intelligence (trade insights, demand signals). Mobile apps give warehouse and sales teams access to the same data as the web dashboard.
GST compliance is built into the invoicing flow with tax calculations, invoice formats, and reporting that follow Indian regulatory requirements. Multi-warehouse sync keeps stock accurate across locations with transfer workflows and audit trails.
Outcome
Soma is in early access at somaapp.in, targeting wholesalers, manufacturers, and retail chains that need unified operations across finance, inventory, and field teams.
